Just as it does every year in February, the town of Mandelieu-La Napoule looks forward to welcoming you to celebrate its Mimosa Festival.

The Mimosa plant was introduced to the south of France in the late 19th century. Originally native to Australia, it quickly acclimatised to the Mediterranean climate. The Mimosa Festival, which dates back to 1931 in Mandelieu-la-Napoule, is a truly popular festival that celebrates an important culture and local economy of the 19th century.

Taking part in the Mimosa Festival means discovering one of the local traditions of Mandelieu-La Napoule. Over eight days, from 15th to 22nd February 2017, you will have the opportunity to take part in street entertainment, shows, carnival processions, illuminated parades and flower parades. These floats decorated with mimosa will be the centre of a tableau developed around the theme of the five elements.
